okay to remember the differences between consistent, inconsistent, dependent and independent systems, my dad came up with a helpful metaphor for each one. tiffany is the consistent, independent one. there is one solution, and the two lines intersect at one point, like her college life and regular home life coming together smoothly. sam is consistent and dependent. one slope, same y intercept....
